Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. After a brief introduction, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for check-in. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore the town or relax by the shores of Lake Victoria. Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, often referred to as the "primate capital of the world." The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes, rural communities, and lush tea plantations. Upon arrival in Fort Portal, you’ll enjoy lunch before continuing to your lodge near the park. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park In the morning, set off for your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you’ll venture into the dense forest in search of the fascinating chimpanzee families. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior. After this thrilling adventure, return to your lodge for lunch and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation, where you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, and antelopes. Day 4: Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Start the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the Kasenyi plains where you may encounter large herds of buffalo, elephants, and Uganda kobs. After the game drive, head to the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions, and enjoy lunch before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is home to the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, and your journey through the rolling hills will leave you captivated by Uganda’s natural beauty. Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park This is the highlight of your trip! After an early breakfast, you will be briefed by the park rangers before heading into the forest for your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can take several hours depending on the gorilla family's location, but the experience of meeting these gentle giants in their natural habitat is truly life-changing. You’ll spend a magical hour observing their interactions before returning to the lodge. In the evening, you can relax or take a nature walk to interact with the local community.
